Friendly hooman wonders if his friendship with a cute cow is weird, but people think this friendship is heartwarming: 'I find it very mooving'

Is it weird to be best friends with an animal? We assume most of your answers would be a resounding "No, it's not weird", because you're already here, at the Animal Comedy corner of the internet - where we all love animals of any kind. Especially if they're funny, but not exclusively - we all love here a cute animal story, a wholesome little read, something heartwarming that only animals (and the hoomans that write about them) can produce. So, is it weird to be best friends with an animal? That's a resounding "No, it's not weird" from all of us here at Animal Comedy HQ.

But that was the exact question one hearty hooman asked the vast population of the interwebs - is it weird that he's best friends with a cow? Admittingly, an animal BFF that's not a dog or a cat is an odd sight to see, but not less wholesome or cute. At least that's what we think - but we know we're not the only ones who think like that. This man's question and his adorable selfies with his cow BFF swept some wholesomeness across the Reddit thread he opened.

So, truly, is it weird to be best friends with a cow? Nope. Not weird at all, but rather heartwarming. Especially in this wintery weather. Such a fluffy friendship can warm any hooman heart out there. Even a fluffy friendship with a kangaroo would do that - just as one other commenter added, with a kangaroo selfie of her own.   • You can already see from the looks on both of their faces their friendship brings them a lot of happiness. This hearty hooman is smiling from ear to ear, and that cow blep is so cheeky and fun. This friendship makes our hearts melt.

    AddendumCharacter899 She is the sweetest girl ever!! She was rejected at birth so I bottle fed her and raised her in my garage and yard before she went back to the farm at 6 months old. She's about to turn 2 in March and still gives me all her cuddles and love when I go see her :]

  • It's not only cows (or dogs and cats, for that matter)! Animals can be BFFs with people. Animals of any type and kind. As long as we're kind to animals, and friendly towards them, they all can be friends with us too. Personally, we think it's wholesome.

    genielee I have neighbors with cattle and I befriended one, gave her a salt lick snack everyday she would come out and moo for me in the morning. Last year they sold her I was so mad because I told them I would buy her but they sold her to someone else! But I don't think it's weird...

    sykoticnarcotics Looks like a young highland cow but I'm not an expert, and yes, they're like dogs. A friend of mine has a farm, his cows absolutely adore him, they're playful, they're cheeky, and they get excited when they see him. They're affectionate too. I had no idea before seeing it myself.
